SIRMET ELETTRICA manufactures electrical transformers from distribution in oil by the power of 50kVA to 25MVA and a maximum voltage of 132kV.

 The engineering office can design every kind of transformer for special dimensional requirements or in parallel.

 The core is appropriately manufactured with cold-rolled plates with oriented grains with low losses and cut at 45°.

 LV windings are manufactured in bands (copper or aluminium) to guarantee an improved resistance to electrodynamical stress in case of short-circuits. The windings are individually insulated with insulating material made up of true cellulose paper.

 HV windings are manufactured with enamelled copper wire or copper plate covered in true cellulose paper.

All insulation materials are of high quality and are constantly subjected to strict tests.
